Spud-runner My first HM and a little disapointed not to crack 1:30:00 but pleased with the run overall. Nowhere near as flat as some say, and the last dip/hill at 12mile point totally killed what little energy I had left. Off road section hard going but at least it was DRY! Very well organised race though and nice goody bag to top it off. Well done Striders. If only Lincoln could bring back it's Half Marathon. :-)

That Damned Bloke my first run of more than 10k since october last year and it'll be interesting to see if i can finish it! determination is the key i feel.... not speed (ha! definately not speed!) well, i finished it. was never going to be a quick time and i ended up near the back of the field, but what do you expect when i stupid enough to try running 13.1 miles with no training! was a good race, well organised. right about the goodie bag... lots in it!
