Cormorant This was actually 8.2 miles after a change of route. Let's just say that the .2 m was no problem at all.

garfieldhouse I like the look of this run, but reckon the climbing sections and steps will be tricky. Being conservative with 1hr 2 mins, usually a decent time for this distance for me. The scenery looks picturesque too! UPDATE When I made the milage estimate, it was still the 12km circuit, llengthened to 8.2 Miles (about 13.2 km), so I was actually ahead of my predicted time-yay! Roughly running at 8 minute miles I did quite well and managed the hills OK. Good one that!

Mishka Great event Very well organised and an interesting route which was all up and down with very little flat but nothing too challenging. The uneven canal path took a bit of getting used to after the nice smooth tarmac road of the first 3 miles though. Thankful for the long down hill to the finish.
