agatha I want under 55 mins. Reckon it's do-able. Update: wooooohooooo! COME ON! Used pace band, went off too fast but had minute to spare, pushed last 2 k. Uncomfortable at points but not vomit inducing. Hurrah.

Hybrid Vortex Legs felt like malten lead and was lacking the usual competitive edge, but great result all things considered. Going out for dinner the night before was a bad idea.

Mal Took the race pretty easy, as Bristol half the following weekend, and my knee had been playing up. Knee seemed ok during the race, and pipped bootdavid in a sprint finish.
