About Me
Amazed self by taking up running in march 2008, setting myself a challenge of completing a 10k in under an hour. Amazed self even further by continuing to run after completing first event., it's been on and off but remained pretty constant. Have second half marathon coming up, find I need a race to point at. I am probably not as fast as I would be if I trained harder or more often, I'm OK with that! Running is as much head space as being fast for me. How did I spend so long without it?

Training looks patchy since I moved to logging runs with another app and not figured out how to import.

Favourite running advice, from my much faster sister: 'so what if you feel like you might throw up. You're not going to die. Sometimes it's good to run so hard you do actually throw up - then you find out you won't die'. i have yet to take her advice, though.
