About this parkrun
Completed the Winter Course, starts with a lap of the field on grass, then 2 x laps of path and trail, followed by one final lap of the field to finish. Fast, flat course about 50% trail. Narrow in places. Great Marshalls, well signposted.RunHammyRun 12th Jan 2019
Fast flat course, maybe two thirds trail and the rest tarmac paths. Bit narrow in places but definite PB potential. Nice route and apparently the summer version is prettier.

Did the winter course - mainly trail with some tarmac. Definite pb potential - 2nd fastest parkrun for me.

Very scenic. Tight in places.

The summer course is a bit narrow and occasionally uneven. You need to pay attention to what's happening under your feet. It's very pretty along the river where there is welcome shade on a hot day. It's a nice run if you're not going for a time.

Congested if you start too far back. You’d have to walk a bit

Winter course is now 3 laps of the Muddy Penis. Summer course is better via the bottom of Willow Bridge then back through the woods near the Rivermill over the small bridge then do it again till the finish. Cafe now back open in sports centre.

Summer course started this week - two laps on various surfaces including tarmac, grass and trail and many bridges. Flat course and was a nice one 😊

Very scenic run with parts of it by the river. Would be a very different course at different times of the year. A mix of tarmac and trail
