Draycott What is it about this race and SHOE LACES? Was the shoe lace Farie out? My right shoe lace came undone half way round lap two. I thought this might have been a disadvantage but perhaps not when it seems half the field was running with only one lace tied. I really enjoyed the cold weather and what happened to....On your Marks...Get Set.... Only joking it was to cold to hang about, I think this is the best Oxford mail course so far this year and was well marshalled with good car parking etc. 53rd about right maybe I could have done a bit better.

Dubbya Had bad blisters by lap 3 (due to 1st run in spikes for two years), and had to limp DOWN the hills. Time to end this farce and get back to the road races.

Gobi Learned this year that I am not that slow so have started going off a lot harder, settled in around 15th place(always a few flamers on the 1st lap) Moved up a few places and started the 2nd lap just around the top10 and racing 2 chaps. Working well we all took another place and then I got ahead of the 3. Worked the climb and headed out onto lap 3 with a small gap in 8th place. Pushed hard into the wind to try to force a gap(gave myself a stitch). It worked well and I recovered in the trees and headed for home. All in all a good run and the best bit, MY KNEES FEEL FINE !!!!

mitch01 4 minutes quicker than last year. right shoes lace came undone on second lap but carried on. very pleased with the result.
