ChrisU Felt pretty sluggish on the 2nd lap, and only just managed to dip under 36 minutes.

ian9657 Much preferred the new route, hope they keep it. Tough undulating course, my first time without resorting to a walk on at least one of the hills. Great support and competition from fellow runners. Worked really hard, held off Rleyton a couple of times and after he overtook me I almost caught him on the line. 29 secs quicker than last year.

John Kynaston I was pleased with my run. I was 25secs faster than last year. I preferred the new layout. A very well organised event. I did a video of the race. http://west-highland-way-race07-training.blogspot.com/2009/01/video-of-nigel-barge-race.html

rleyton Woohoo! Sub 45 minutes at last! Great race, and managed to tag on to the back of fellow Club runner ian9657 for much of the race. With the hills in that race, Jack Crawford 10k in a couple of weeks (Almost 2 minute improvement last year), got my fingers crossed for more soon.

shannon Gun time. Ran with workmate YoungWallace, who is a 42min 10k runner but kindly saw my weary 16stone frame round this familiar wee hilly course at the back of the pack. It was a good run in lovely conditions and with excellent support on the way round from marshals, clubmates and friendly spectators. Steady 6min (ish) K's then upped it for last 2k as planned, but still a bit to go to keep up with the main pack! Legs and head all ok, it's good to be back doing races again. Thank you Maryhill Harriers for putting on a good one.
