Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Dave_K Ran well upto 16 miles. Then it fell apart somewhat. But was always going to be a prep run for Loch Ness in 3 weeks. So the time on feet was good. Always great organisation at Moray. Great weekend

edso90 First for me as well. Gettin round will be the priority and then who knows.Very enjoyable, friendly and well organised race. All went to plan really. Was hoping to do all but the first mile in around 8.30s and nearly managed that. Felt good until around 22 and then it started to hurt but got the head down and worked hard, kept running and got to the line. Very happy. Met Dave K at start and then ended up running from about 5 to 17 with a nice lad called Finlay. That really kept my mind of the teen miles. He dropped off at Lossiemouth and I was on my own to the finish. Will I do another?? Probably.

Foot & Mouth Training went well for the first 14 weeks but an old injury cropped its head. Had 10 days of rest before the race in the hope that I would make it round at least but the body held together (until the 22nd mile) despite a few walk breaks I still managed sub 4 hours. I said this would be my one and only Marathon but I might be persuaded to do another

hillgirl Was fine until the last 4 miles, and they got progressively harder and harder. Still, much better experience than previous marathon. Weather was perfect, and enjoyed it unti the last bit, which was torture!

union great race, really well organised and a great atmosphere. Going well until about 18 miles but hen I think that the Devil O the Highlands 5 weeks before caught up with me and the pace faded. Still, a great end to the season.
