Debstir Slowest time for this race so far. Niggle in my left hamstring before I started, kept my pace a bit slower at the start; niggle seemed to disappear after a mile or so. Felt quite strong from halfway (that'll be the downhills then!). Full race report to follow in blog.

Baza Missed this for a year or two but really enjoy it, might even be tempted to go for 'King of the hill', well the way my short track stuff is going the speed is their :-) will decide on the night though! good feed afterwards too *UPDATE* Decided Glenrothes on Sunday is my priority as it's one of our counters so opted for the 'Hill' instead. 73 seconds to the top, but had to settle for 2nd best, beaten by my clubmate by a second, who actually went onto pick up 1st Junior, worth the try though. Took the next 2 miles to get my breath back, both at 7mm pace, then picked up to 6mm pace. Felt fine at the finish. Roll on Sunday. Good feed afterwards and a spot prize to boot, good night out I reckon

Dave_K Really enjoyed this one. Had a good race with Scottnbn all the way round. Definitely helped drag a PB out!! Felt good all round and a sprint finish. As usual, a great spread afterwards! Good to meet all the other Fetchies: Fatboarder, Debstir, Tigger, Bungee and Lintie :-)

Mr. White Great race, good atmosphere and well organised. I got there about 5 minutes before the start (!). Met my clubmate Dave R and Fetchies, Scottnbn and DaveK. Run was OK, was trying a new approach of hitting uphills harder and then accelerating downhill - 'sort of' worked but blew out over the last K or so, never mind...tired but happy! Great drive back too, through some scenic countryside with some loooud cheesy dance tunes from a few years ago = :)

Will do this one again.
