Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Greenman Well pleased to do sub 40 considering my last training run was Boxing Day and I'd been snow/iced in all week. Nice conditions but I'm sure the wind was against on the way back (or was I just tiring). Results on the web by 2PM on race day-impressive. www.cix.co.uk/~neper/southwell/

Chockaholic Atlast sub 40! Quite a breeze against you as you came back along river but very flat course.

hammerite Started steady, but was flying upto halfway. Gat a stitch at 3.5 but it wasn't slowing me down. The headwind at 4-5 miles put paid to my sub 45m attempt as this mile was 30s slower than all my others. Got second wind once sheltered from the wind and was pushing for a PB. Couldn't muster up a sprint finish due to the muddy finish, but at least I know a sub 45 is in me.

Excellent race as usual.

Fat Man Runs Felt really tough after running on Boxing Day but still managed to knock the best part of three minutes off my pb.

If I had felt fresh it could easily have been sub 45.

Well it makes me go into the new year with optimism has well as managing to acheive my goal for this year of a sub 50 minute 10k.
