Banny Again another damp day. Fortunately we missed the deluge by a couple of hours but there was drizzle. Fantastic race, I loved it. Marlow is a beautiful place, wel worth a visit. I managed to park the car in the leisure centre car park after hassle with the parking ticket machine, not enough cash, trying to pay by card, sponging twenty pence and finaly getting the ticket. Borrowed some safety pins (again) and met up with Rob from work in the starting area. I even had a five minute jog and stretch around the cricket area. The off was congested and I mesed up my stopwatch again.As I expected, it wasn't easy to get through people until the mile mark, I managed to start my watch at the mile mark (don't ask)! I managed an even pace all the way along at about 8 and a half minutes using a smaller yet faster stride. The whole course was never very hilly hence the PB potential however the last mile home was just the best. First couple of miles I had a bit of cramp in the right foot but the faded. very happy indeed with my time, A PB! I finished in 43:16 beating Sudbury by some three minutes, oh the beauty of having two feet. My place was 675th over al out of 1335 finishers. Excellent!
