Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Baza Good run tonight, over 2 minutes quicker than last year, but lack of training was taking it's toll over the last 2K, calf is still bothering me too(got ice on it at the mo!). Weather proved friendly in the end and I held on to take 12th place. Clubmates finished 1st & 2nd too. Very well organised event with a cracking feed afterwards - I even went up for seconds as they had stuff left :-) Reckon the field was bigger than last year too(2007=190 finishers). Good to see a big Fetch turnout too.

Big Al Widepants Not in the best of shape but I'll give it a go.Update: that's a tough little race. Did it two years ago and I remember that you do three laps of a nice park but that means three times up this long slow draggy incline and several tight turns around cones. There are sneaky hills thoughout as well so it qualifies as undulating. The length was 10.17 on Tig's garmin so all in all, 46.23 was a good effort and I'm quite pleased. Especially as I've been ill and slacking into the bargain. Hey, a good one.

Fat Boy Pleased with run and happy to break 40 minutes considering all the tight turns and Garmin reports about the course being a touch on the long side.

Jaffers That was a tough course - the cones really added more time than I had anticpated. Overall I'm quite pleased with the time given the long slog up the drive (3x) and the turns at the cones. Lovely evening for a race and well organised. Good to meet up with a few Fetchies and enjoyed pacing Andy up the final straight after my warm down!

Runnersleep 6.3 Miles on my Garmin. Quite pleased with time.
Strange course in that you almost stopped to go round the cones - 6 times I think.
Nice night for it and the sandwiches were well received after the race.

The Flying Fifer have done this one a couple of times- in the days when I was fit. Would love to go under the hour. Anything more would be a bonus
Update-mission accomplished. measured 6.39 miles on my Garmin, which is usually about 0.1m out for a 10k, so all-in-all I reckon it was a tad on the long side.
