Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Applecross UPDATE - OFFICIAL TIME PUTS ME UNDER 45 MIN - YIPPPPEEEE!!!!!
Arse! Had been hoping to get sub 45, but was not to be - was a fairly last minute decision to enter and had various niggles. Was nice, mostly flattish run, though not the brilliantest of courses - the narrow pavement sections made overtaking quite difficult (as if!), especially the out-and-back section where we were all just plodding along in a line. Plenty support from marshals, people hooting in cars and bewildered grannies on their way back from Debenhams!

ChrisU Different course than before. This time a straight out and back again, startining and finishing with a lap of the track.

EyeSpy21 Dreadful! Was pacing myself to sneak under 53:00 and two of The Girls tagged along. I took at stitch between 4 and 5K and had to walk jog 'til after 7K. Was going to pull out but remembered how pleased I would have been to get that time only a few months back. The other two girls got their 52:xx so well done them. Thanks Guiseppe, for the cheer at the end. And nice to see Magoo again. UPDATE: a chicken biryani, packet of jaffa cakes and half a bottle of wine, and I've forgotten about it already. Roll on the Turkey Trot!

purplehippo Not too bad a course, out & back, few to many twist & turns, but the long straights made up for that. Still managed a pb by a minute, & the Killie girls got the team prize!

Marshalls friendly and encouraging, well done.no medal, or anything, bit disapointing, doubt i;ll do this again
