jolguk I'm really sorry to all the people who bet on me! But I knew the heat would be the deciding factor and it was apparently 21 degrees. I'm not going to to try to make too many excuses as the other Fetchies did a lot better than me, but my race strategy of trying to stay back with a friend and run a more even pace than usual didn't work. I was just praying for shade all the way through that, and was sick on the finishing line and felt like total crap straight afterwards, not unlike the end of the NY marathon! Still, I ran over a minute faster than last year.
