About this parkrun

Two and a bit laps around the old racecourse at Hereford Leisure Centre. Not the most scenic, but gently undulating so not too slow. Surface is grass/trail, quite bumpy in places but wide and fairly straight. Parking/toilets at leisure centre.

Parking (£1), coffee & toilets @ Hereford Leisure Centre @ HR49UD. Pop through fence into the racecourse for easy to follow 2 anti-clockwise mostly flat laps of the racecourse. Solid underfoot.

Twice (plus a bit) round a racecourse, completely open to the elements, no variety. Uneven underfoot. I did it on a hot day; it was brutal!

Not huge numbers, which is good. Two laps around the race course. Not a PB course as you are not running on tarmac, but still quicker than some courses I have run.

Two laps on the track adjoining the racecourse. The course slopes slightly, so there's a gentle incline up and down again on each lap. Track slightly rough in places. Coffee and changing in the adjacent Sports Centre. Be prepared to queue for coffee.
