Laurence Delayed start, so rushed back to the car to put plasters over potential blisters; the warning signs were there during a warm-up. Sitting there with bare feet when the gun fired and 200+ runners stampeded past. I started the race 1/2 a lap behind, so was happy enough to catch and pass about 30 runners. Garmin measured course as 6 miles.
