Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Halvedin3 Had a cold during the week leading up to this race, so wasn't on top form. Shame because I feel I'm in good shape, and sub 1:35 was certainly on. Still, very happy to beat previous PB.

Footpad Started in Watford with a cold park and onlly 2 loos! I had forgotten my gloves :-(
I met 3 other fetchies, Lisa, Justin and Sebby and we were off! Round the park and then onto the towpath. First mile was quick and then the towpath dissolved into a slimey mess and the wind blew... HARD right into my face. I made steady progress overtaking where I could and working hard. Walked at water stops and then picked off the same runners again! They must have thought me a loon! Mile 12 and I was TIRED I had to stop to cross a road and would have been quite happy to stop for good. But there was only a little bit to go so plodded on. Round the park once and a finish in a nice new PB! Not bad with the bad training I have done!Oh and this was one of the BESTEST organised races I have ever done :-)
