Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Big Al Widepants This was part of my taper for the Moray Marathon but I couldn't help having a go at a PB. Started off too quickly as ever and by 5K was really suffering. Slowed right down at 7K and was passed by a Clive Dunn lookalike with army surplus cargo shorts. I rallied and ran a good last 2K and managed the PB although I feel that after this much training I should have made more of an improvement. Was heartened to read another Fetchite describing the course as too undulating for a PB and that the hills at 8 and 9 K were tough on the legs. That made me feel much better.

Debstir Watch time 50:33, official time was 50:44 - still a PB! Disappointed I couldn't break 50mins but that's always something to aim for still. Thought I'd started off too quick (as usual) as my 1st mile was under 8 minutes but managed not to slow down too much. Nice route, gentle hills rather than anything nasty!

Ultracat Warm and humid. Had a good run. Course was gently undulating with no steep or long hills only slight inclines which seemed to be evenly up and down. Well marshalled and well organised. Was slightly disappointed with my time but its my 2nd fastest 10k so not too bad.

It was lovely to meet some fellow fetchers.
