Really well attended parkrun in Finsbury park, easy to get to by train, challenging course all on paths except the very end. Great briefing.

As Finsbury isn't my favourite area this was surprisingly nice as a parkrun playful hills especially at end of each lap. Parking I would imagine a bit tough but easy to get from station.

My closest, my favourite. Well marshalled and great facilities. A treat!

I recommend this parkrun. Easy to get to from the tube, two looper with loads of space (nice wide paths), friendly team. Decent cafe after. The hills are a test, not one of the toughest parkruns I've done but defo not one of the easiest!! Oct 22

A New Year’s Day double. A little bit lumpy but a decent surface.

Watch out for the descent at around mile 1 and then again on lap 2 - the road surface here is not in good condition and collects lots of debris from the trees. I had a nasty fall there a few years back so have avoided since then.

Two laps of Finsbury Park, all on tarmac except the very last bit to the funnel which is on grass. One very short sharp hill. Very close to Finsbury Park station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines, and national rail).
