Dynamo Kev First ever marathon and a great sense of achievement at the finish. First half very enjoyable city centre route with a section through the park. Second half very isolated although good support from marshals. Boating lake section quite soul destroying, with 5 of the last 6 miles into a raging headwind. Painful!!

Not Greased Lightning (M.) Really enjoyed this my first Marathon. Had some sort of psycological problem at 13 miles just after the 1/2 marathoners had turned off, and had to run walk the remainder of the race.
