GAZGIB Ideal running conditions, don't know why I'm always about a minute off my normal pace at this event, considering how flat it is. 45:20 beats my previous 5 times at this course.

GD Got the PB I was hoping for! Was a bit wet - but this was a pleasant change to recent conditions! Managed to just about average my planned km split of 4:20 on the first half (which was all on roads), the return half was along the river on a towpath/cyclepath, and was pleased to find I was able to up the pace, and in fact improve every km: 4:15, 4:13, 4:12, 4:10, 3:55. Nice race - I'll probably be back - didn't much enjoy sitting on the M25 on the way home for what seemed like ages, but can't really blame Elmbridge Runners for that!

Puffing Bertie Got soaking wet, sore ankle, but still managed a pb, (dont know how!) sad i didnt get under 60mins, next time eh!

surreystrider™ Quite a big turnout in filthy weather for this event. Knocked 34 seconds off my previous PB so I was happy despite getting soaked. Time for a drink !
