Marigold Had to go off quite hard to keep up with the 2 leading runners (Tom Merson and Richie Gardiner) and we went through 3k in 9min. Merson and I drifted away from Gardiner between 4-5k and then as we hit the wind at around 6k, Merson also started to fall back. Had the win in the bag by around 8k and dropped quite a bit of time into the wind at this point as I lost the incentive to hurt myself! Official finish time of 30:55 ( 20s ahead of 2nd) and 1s faster than my 10k split at Bath :-) Quit happy with that seeing as the taper hasn't started and the way I've been feeling the last week

Boycie Finished 30th - fast course, but pretty dull. Legs still heavy from long runs I guess. Should have stayed focus in 7th and 8th km...

DrDebs i ran like a cart horse! stitch before i hit two miles and in pain all the way - f**king stupid stomach.....very windy - hated it :-( going to retire!
