Baza Enjoyed the run, not my best race as i was 2 minutes slower than last year but these things happen. Measured the course at 5.6 miles, exactly the same as last year. Works out as 9010 metres, only 210 more than stated so not bad for a XC race.

Boab 8.8kms. Good course, there were a couple of tuff wee inclines. About 2 miles in I went over on my ankle again, and at the time was feeling quite strong considering the hangover. Managed to run it off quite quickly, unlike last week, but got apprehensive about hurting myself and took it cautiously till I got back into the park. Finished strong. Need to strengthen the ankles though!!!

Enigma Pleased with my run today, I may even go so far as to say that I enjoyed it. What a difference from tha previous XCountry race in Livingstone. Pleased with my time and I think I ran the race well, picking off others for most of the course. The official course map puts the race distance at 8.8 Kms.
