ClaireT My second HM and really enjoyed it, got the pacing a bit better this time and only felt like being sick after the sprint finish, instead of the whole way round :)

Fiinished 4th lady, and knocked nearly 2min off last months PB, so I'm a happy chicken.

connelld Before:
Looking to beat my PB on this one, but as I've never ran it, then I'm not so sure. I'm going to try and take advantage of the 2 circuits and up or drop my speed accordingly in the second lap if need be.

After:
To put it bluntly, I didn't like this race. Very boring. All on road and underpaths until the last bit where you take a very sharp turn right and up a track. I don't think personally I was 100% as I struggled for several miles after a good start.

Yano Don't yet feel fully fit so don't waste your bets!
Post-race: Warm day and felt dehydrated throughout but apart from that felt very comfortable. Ran about 7min mile pace to halfway, lost about 3mins between 7-11 and then made about a minute back from 11-13. Good, strong finish but probably should have pushed pace on a bit earlier. Wasn't going for PB so reasonably happy with time. Course pretty uninspiring - long straights and too many rounadbouts - polo mint city indeed. Organisation was first class though and I was very glad of the water stations every 2-3 miles. 113th out of 635.
