Baza What a day, mud, mud and more mud. Good course though and the fact we've had 2 days of heavy rain in the run up to the race didn't help the ground. Even went my length on the 2nd big lap and just lay their laughing, it was all i could too :-)

HappyG(rrr) Mudbath indeed, as bedshaped said. What was that ploughed field like?! Felt like I had a 2KG weight on each foot with the caked mud. Lousy performance from me. Well done TickerT coming back from injury and still way ahead of me. Great fun tho - horizontal sleet held off for most of the race. I rued the lack of a post race beer. I think it should be compulsory. About 41:45 by the Garmin. Crazy slow. Also, distance should be 5.3. I've fmailed fetch to ask him to edit. :-)G
