plodding hippo bit of a shock positng this on possibly the fifth hardest road mara in the UK i was walking by mile 3 too-er, a hill and starting with two 9.5 min miles, will i NEVER learn walked loads hurt like hell got soaked through to my undies a brilliantly organised race though-highly recommended

Yog-Sothoth Need to take it a little easier in the early stages this time, 'cos this one has a real sting in the tail. Heavy showers all the way round, but very little wind so managed to avoid hypothermia. Got a PB a whole minute quicker than my Duchy 2006 time, but hey - the Cornish is a much harder marathon! Show me a flattish course, and I reckon sub-3:10 would be do-able.
