major clanger scenic, undulating 2 lap course.About 20% is tarmac road, rest mainly tracks with a bit of grass.Enjoyable race and a good day out for the family.Entry fee includes entry into Castle Howard grounds with lakeside cafe and adventure playground.

Bret did 43.30 last year, but for some reason was struggling, so would expect to hopefully knock a couple of mins off. Good race though and a nice way to spend father's day!

Cat the Dog Lover Forgot to factor in that this is a trail race in my predicted time. A thoroughly enjoyable run that has restored my faith in my ability to run, and that I do still enjoy it. This is despite it being 2 laps which usually puts me off.
