About this parkrun

Pancake flat, attractive route along the tidal river bank and through the park past fishing lakes. Plus a stretch of the prom. Mixture of tarmac, gravel and cinder. Mostly tarmac. Slightly different return route. Very friendly. Toilets available. Car park

Essentially and out and back course along the prom. Starts and finishes in the park before eventually heading out onto a windy gravel section by the estuary. A well organised event, toilet queues can be long.

Fast and fairly flat, but can be quite wet and windy depending on when you go. Enjoyable river and coastal run!

Mostly flat with some very small inclines. Out and back course, lovely views, around the lake then along the gravel path along the estuary, onto the perfectly flat promenade before heading back.

Flat and fast. Starts off running through the park and onto the coastal path. Can be exposed to the wind on the Coastal sections. Always well attended and friendly.

Pretty flat and quick. A bit narrow during the first km, but spaces out after that. Can be a bit windy being by the sea, but better than other courses that I have done and not huge numbers running it.

Fast and flat parkrun on good surfaces, starting and finishing in a park but mostly along a river bank and promenade. Can get windy, but otherwise a real PB course. Toilets at the start, but avoid the queues and warm up to the ones on the prom
