No.8 â„¢ Very cold, snowy, hills and 2 days after Xmas, not a recipe for a PB but a cracking and thoroughly enjoyable race. This was my

Slow Going Bunty gave it up big time... Up and down, up and down, up and down, I wasn't sure I could keep it up (and to be fair I was drooping a bit by the end). She chewed me up and spat me out.

Blizzard conditions before the start made Monki + #8s' shorts choice suitably amusing.

#8 got a 69 from Bunty I'm so jealous.

Ronnie Wibbley Felt wretched throughout - knew something was wrong when I looked at the HRM on the first decent hill and it read 195! Sure enough, a Personal Worst by a considerable distance. Despite that, a nice course and very good to meet No. 8, Monki and Slow Going. One to book in for next year (but fit this time!).

monki I think this was a race too far for me - the third on the trot with lots of hills and my heart just wasn't in it. I could blame the cold, the night nurse, thatcher, my new shoes, #8's funny arm-warmer things, but basically today I just couldn't be fecked to carry on at 8 min miling so I only just crept under my (soft) PB by 12 seconds.

Other than saying I have run in just about every weather going this year, I should have stayed in bed.

Hills of Death (HOD) Unknown quanity we'll see :). Confusing start people left behind. It turned out to be a good training run rather than a race for me as I had calf probs in two weeks proceeding. Didn't happen on the race for me tho. Very Undulating when does this move into hilly caterogy as it felt hilly to me. Tough test as this was my first 10 miler legs stopped working at 8 :). Relaxing in a jacuzzi now it's not mine it my top model girlfriends honest. I wouldnt lie Spurs will win the premiership !

BenDy Felt really up for it even after 2 days of over eating/drinking. From somewhere within myself I found a PB! Must have been all that red wine?
