richyphil Mile markers seemed a little out - ad a tough head wind for much of the race - I was in no mans land and struggling from miles 4 -7 but was then caught bt a small group and pace picked up for strong finish

MacDaz Blimey, headwind, hills and a cold and somehow managed a PB. Very chuffed. Nice race, but mile markers well and truly shot to pieces. Took a few miles to work this out and I think probably made me go quicker!

Alex B Based on current form in the Blackmore Vale Half Marathon, which is much hillier, I am looking for an overall HM PB, and a race PB here. Fingers crossed. *update* what a stonking race! It was a bit windy on the outbound part;but at least that meant there was a tailwind for the home straight. Couldn't believe that sub 1:40 was on the cards. Nice medal this year. Congratulations if you placed a bet ;-)
