BigG Was ill with a cold and really shouldn't have run, but I couldn't resist. Shame I wasn't fit as course and conditions were perfect for a PB attempt.

FML This is my 3rd half marathon, suffer in windy conditions in the last 2. So if weather is good and my pacemaker survives FLM hopefully on for this! Wow!!!!! Great pacing by my team mate who made the slowest 2 miles the first 2, kept me steady for miles 6 to 9 and then I slowly wound up the pace finishing with an 8:32 in the last mile

Pllumby The weather was perfect, overcast, no wind and light rain. Hadn't done enough prep for the race with only a couple of 10milers but decided to go for it anyway! Ended up beating my PB! Knee buggered tho :-( 447 of 932

snogard As predicted it rained, so cold and wet to begin with. The course is flat and is along the promenade and the sea defences. I set off too fast, 1st mile in 9:24, slowed the nest to to 10mins and then settled into 11:00 - 11:30 minute miles. Had problems between miles 6 and 10, shoe lace kept comming undone and was struggling to keep pace, but this settled again. Mostly a good run

Steady Edina Nearly pulled out at the last minute - I was scared because I knew I hadn't prepared properly. So glad I went met lots of lovely people along the way and I felt so good afterwards. Mile 10 was a killer but after a walk break I managed a little recovery and caught up with some of the girls that had got away from me.

Great race - smashed my PB coming in around 1.41.24 - just waiting for official results to come through. Thanks to Dave Lord who ran with me and kept me going. Thanks to all those that bet on me.
