Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

_andy Brilliant. For so many different reasons. Superb race - undulations, sand (four different types, at least), hills, tarmac, a bracing breeze (!), low tide to paddle through instead of wading through, bananas & beers (only one of each), chip timing (but only at the end), a barking-mad uphill finish, so many fantatsic people... No Garmin (left it on the kitchen windowsil) so time only found out the next night - and that I'd won some vouchers for 5th MV (36th overall) Woah! Never saw that coming. Not bad for a recovery run on tired legs.

Debstir Missed the start line so started Garmin a bit after it! No knee-deep water round th rock this year; felt a bit cheated by that ;)

gtwhitton Blackrock 5 race. Started quite strongly and didn't get boxed in this year although struggled crossing the sand with the uneveness. It felt worse than last year on the sand, but it was really windy yesterday as the tide retreated. Not much water behind the rock so hardly got wet much. Passed by Iain Shaw and just couldn't get back at him so he beat me by about 15 seconds. I managed to pass Ken Berry in the run up to the line, which was a bonus. (69th out of 714 - 9.6%!!! WELL CHUFFED)
