Wanda is practicing her relaxed isolation by being shut in the utility room this morning She is spending most of her time standing on her back legs looking out of the window of the back door at birds in the garden.
J took her for a walk this morning, let her off the lead on our local playing field and she turned round and came straight home....... after all, what's the point of going out for a walk where you're not allowed to catch anything if there's a chance you might get a fledgling in the garden

The; "not putting a ball in B's mouth when she is excited to stop her biting" is resulting in her really biting in the time it takes me to put her on the lead which is what I'm instructed to do now. I really don't like her and am not sure if I can deal with her for much longer and don't get me started on her reaction to the cattle and her behaviour on our walk this morning. I think I would be better off without a dog.

I don't know if you're a huggy person D2, but I'm sending you one anyway. I know she's been really hard work and I know I, for one, would not have coped with Bryony at all. I'm sad to hear that she's causing you so much grief. Sometimes the bravest thing is to admit that you're not right for each other and step away.... You must do what is best for you - you certainly won't have made the decision in haste xx

I know I don't know you D2 but from what I know of you on here it may not be that you would be better off without a dog at all, but would you be better off with a different dog.
Talk to your trainer again before you make any final decisions, but I'm sure anyone who has had a rescue dog knows that dogs who end up in rescue do so for many reasons but one of those reasons can be because they are ****** hard work.
Despite the best efforts to match dogs with the right home - it doesn't always work
Sending hugs too
