Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

RunningRonnie (won’t tag for some reason) - we use one of plastic “maze” bowls as Charlie is a wolfer. It supposedly slows him down whilst eating. We never have a problem with anything being left over!

Thanks Alice. No problem with the speed that he eats, he just can't seem to get into the edges.

Another happy pupdate on the brindled idiot: she's about 85% back!

No zoomies yet, and she did pee in the living room last night while Sam and I were in the kitchen cooking - we think she was scared to go behind us to get out - but apart from that, there are many signs normal Bellitude. She's having snugs, she attacks the bin and sneaks upstairs to try and raid the cat litter if we don't pay attention, she got a bit excited when Sam came home from work, she gets on the sofa with no need of encouragement, and she's being increasingly playful.

To say we're relieved would be the understatement of the century so far - we had just about convinced ourselves she must be nearly more brain tumour than dog.

Such good news Rae :-)

Unfortunately not such good news about son2's Lab, Polly. It's her 4th birthday today and she spent it at the vets having an X-ray on her hind leg. When she was a puppy, she somehow broke it playing with their border collie - it was a 'normal' play, nothing unduly rough - and she was in plaster for quite a while. Now she seems to have some sort of Achilles avulsion, possibly as a result of the fracture or as a further indication of a congenital weakness. She's being referred to a vet specialist but treatment options at present seem uncertain :-(
