OH took Finn in spare room with him last night as he was very unsettled. He normally sleeps through from 8pm until 7am.

Toffee did get a bit unsettled yesterday evening but then was very unsure of the different treatment - classic FM and treats and allowed on the sofa. Positively whooshed out the door for first walkies this morning so I think I am mostly going to try and tire him out as much as poss today.

We’re very lucky not to have a firework reactive dog. I’m assuming it’s because we live on the edge of Salisbury Plain so he’s used to the year round booms of army exercises. Having said that, it was very quiet in our village last night, no fireworks heard.

Stella (Labrador) was her usual completely unfazed self last night.

Cleo (Whippet) usually whines and refuses to settle, but was oblivious last night. The jury is still out as to whether she’s really going deaf or is just getting stubborn and rebellious in her old age (14), but she did a really good job last night of convincing me that it’s the former.

Both are knackered today. They will get a walk soon just to keep them awake and hopefully some fatigue might take over tonight.

Less noise than last night, and they’ll be tired because of it, but I put the Classic FM program on straight away tonight and the dogs are a lot more settled. Not perfect, but far better.

Really loud here, one very stressed old dog again. Currently curled up on my lap, hoping the noise stops soon

Liza Starbucks on really loud and Tuss is relatively settled. We did a 10 mile moorland walk last night to avoid the noise, but it’s really wild this evening

Thankfully, our puppy didn't blink an eye at the fireworks.

He's doing really well. That's us had him 2 weeks now. He's still asking out to the toilet once per night, but that's getting later and later and closer to morning ever time.

His favourite things are trashing the living room and chasing a ball. He does like to bite, but slowly getting that under control.
