D2 I love that description.

Today we went for an 18 mile walk from Drumnadrochit to Inverness. Ernie was a total star. We were leap frogging a group of 5 other walkers who pretty much adopted him. He loved having an extended pack.

I should be in Inverness tomorrow meeting MazH who is doing the 10k. We’ll be cheering in some marathoners.

Very impressed by Ernie's 18 miles!

I gave Rory a new toy approximately an hour and a quarter ago. It's a Kong fox soft toy, with no stuffing but knotted rope inside. He has pretty much reduced it to the rope and some sad-looking bits of chewed fur. He also very much enjoyed eating his dinner time kibble from the cardboard box it came in, and then ripping said box to pieces...

We got home around 4:45 and by 6pm Ernie was asking to go out. We went to the beach (essentially our garden) and he spotted his pals and went bounding off to play. He brought me a stick to chase. 8 hours and 18 Miles of walking and he still wants to play fetch. He’s bloomin bonkers.

I'm looking after Cooper the Collie today at the seaside house. He and Flossie have just spent the last hour playing tug o war with Ropey Toy and interestingly Flossie was the one who kept it going - she and Cooper are very good friends already :-). He's a real sweetie actually :-)
