My last dog (Chocolate Lab - that says it all) never really got to grips with the cat flap....

Noted LD! Thankfully my toddlers 9 now, and takes some persuading to wander anywhere!!! What puzzled me most is that it's a magnet activated catflap, and one cat, who's lost her magnet couldn't get in but the dog, who also doesn't have a magnet (because she's not a cat) managed to get in just fine... And according to Mrmegster who's been home this afternoon, she's been going merrily in and out all afternoon! I'll try and get a photo...

Also LD, am totally laughing at the beers - Mrmegster's pants made it outside and under the trampoline... no one will take responsibility, but I *think* I know who did it...

Loving the cat flap stories. Some clearly getting to grips with them more than others.

D2 to Indi in cheery voice "Bedtime!"
Indi obediently goes to door to be let out for pre bed wee, door opens to reveal its raining, Indi puts one foot tentatively outside... it doesn't touch the ground. He turns...
D2 firmly "go out for a wee" , he returns and walks out carefully and slowly. D2 stands in doorway, Indi starts to go back indoors so D2 goes out in rain.. more firmly "Go For A Wee".
Indi walks three meters and stands still for less than 30 seconds then makes a bolt for house.. saying "I've been"
I'll swear he pretended to wee
