Sounds really normal Maz!! This time round I got a crate for those moments when Indi and I hated each other, at least in there he couldn't do any damage. These days I keep a stock of bones in the freezer for the times in the evening when he really needs a 'distraction"

We say to Jess, 'Grown ups talking!'
She doesn't take much notice though.
She is such a prima donna and drama queen.

Yesterday morning I put on my cloggies to take the rubbish out to the bin. Then I left them by the door. Do you know where I'm going? Jet likes to carry shoes.
Last night I spent an hour searching for the missing left cloggie.

I checked the whole garden. Nothing.

All of the ground floor of the house. Nadda.
I asked Jet to 'fetch' 'shoe', and he came back with a right-footed cloggie.
if any of your dogs would like to send a telepathic message to Jet to say that the joke is wearing thin and I'd like my shoe back, I'd appreciate it.

Oh dear H, I'll ask Indi but I don't hold out much hope as I often have shoes "all over the place" the only thing he can find is his ball and that's not much use to you. :)

Does he bury things in his bed Helegant? Underneath the cushions in Wanda's bed can be a real treasure trove at times (but fortunately usually only things she is 'allowed' to have anyway!)

When Mr loses his shoes I can usually find them in or around Jet's bed. But this is a mystery. I *suspect* it went out through the front door in Jet's mouth early one morning, but Mr swears otherwise. The mystery remains.

Wanda has had a second day at the kennels today. Both last week and this I had to be out all day and although as it happened J was here both days we never really know until the night before whether that will be the case and it will hopefully get Wanda used to going there anyway. Just as well he was at home today though as otherwise she'd probably have had to spend the night there too.
She doesn't eat or drink anything when she is there which is a bit worrying (I don't mean they don't give her anything, she gets a small supper at 4pm which is their feeding time and she doesn't eat it and we asked them to monitor if she drank anything today and they don't think she did.)

I think Wanda will drink if she's thirsty Baroness though it is a bit of a worry that she has thst response to a day at the kennels.

We are getting a new Lab puppy in the family :-) A year after Bella died my sister will be collecting Lottie at the end of May.

And three weeks later she'll be coming to stay with us when they go to Spain for a week. :-0 Not sure that's a great idea for the puppy but she'll have to get used to staying with us as they're off to India in the autumn and then Australia in January.

Jet will often refuse to drink if he's unsure or uneasy. When he gets home though....! I hope Wanda learns to relax a alittle at the kennels.

A new puppy sounds lovely LD - do you have any good sofas it could chew?

The missing cloggie has been discovered, under a fleece blanket in an armchair. Well done Jet, that one kept me wondering for 24 hours!
