Sorry if we've been over this... but I thought you got 2 points for every square you run in, which is what it says in each square on the grid but then on the score card at the top I've got 37 which is the number of squares I have run in.. Confuzzled

The score at the top reflects the squares who are winning in, I think 🤔.

The score is the number of squares you 'own', the number in the individual squares is a measure of how far ahead/behind you are in each square.

The score is the number of squares you "own". The points in the squares are to show how vulnerable they are e.g. if you have a square with 2 points and then your opponent runs through it, their 2 points will cancel out your 2 points and the square has no owner and hence doesn't add to the game score.

Aaaah thank you! So it is like a condensed version of Conquercise but you don't have to keep going miles from home to get more squares. Got it. And in other news I'm beating Daz1, who beat me last time.

Chrisity, I ran straight back, a slightly different route so as to deprive you of J&K14.
I was thinking of doing a race outside my grid tomorrow, but I'm not sure my legs could take it, especially if I need to learn to ride a bike by five to one on Monday morning.
GlennR, I might be tempted to think he was exaggerating, but I've seen for myself how he was able to flip 50 squares in one go while seemingly only running 400 meters .

Monday morning two weeks ago I was on 110 squares and well in the lead. Nowhere in sight by lunchtime.

I cycle because I can't drive and have a 7 mile ride to work. Why should I be penalised. I am running less at the moment because i have a bad knee(swollen) so all my opponents should be made to do less.
