Great Debut, bobbob!

& more importantly, you were the 29th Gridmaster...

Here's my training log from my Gridmaster.

It includes 30.06 miles of running and a lot of short walks (6.47 miles) which were necessary to fill in gaps. I do not have a record of he distance travelled between the short walks.

Looking at it now, I am surprised that so many of these "fillers" were early in the week. I think this is because I was contending with a city grid that was completely unfamiliar and, while I would have described it as nicely horizontally/vertically aligned, a lot of it was at an angle to the WSW grid. I also did a lot of stop/start uploading to make sure I had visited the right square there and then. The bike ride at the end was necessary to get the single final square which I had missed while running.

The oddest thing, looking back, was that my home base was in square A3!

Gridmaster is certainly becoming a thing. Second time in three weeks that my opponent is going for it. Looks like I won't make the cut for Round 2 of the multi player for the first time since I qualified as I am visiting the in laws this weekend.
