Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We quite often call the dog Murphy , Dave.

As in “Dave, you’re my wife [dog] now...”

Morning folks! Having (or so I thought) just got over the horrible lurgy, I found myself going in to work today and wondering where the rush hour traffic was. I checked my phone and it's Sunday. Wow - that illness really got a grip.

I'd better do some cleaning or something. Got to try to find my driving licence later and change the address. Not looking forward to that. It's in storage in a room full of boxes at a friend's house.

Oh dear RS. It's disorientating having time off for illness. I had a 2 day week this week which confused the hell out of me.

I’ve been a day ahead too as I went to London on Thursday but it felt like Friday. A pain you actually got up but at least it’s a bonus day off!

Have you checked online RS? I’m pretty sure I changed my address online on my driving licence and they just asked for the old one to be sent back so you could do that later. The V5 for the car had to be done by post though.

Did they need your licence number for the COA Meglet? I don't know mine.

I found the licence and then went on line to change it. I thought about how often I'm needing to move in the next few months, so decided to change it to Dad's address. Not possible as they need to verify me against that address. I then thought I'll just have to set it to this temporary address and keep changing it. Tried to input this address and it crashed on me twice, probably because I'd already tried for Dad's address.

In between I'd tried to use the contact service but they make it so difficult. You have to input your address and I can't because my question is going to be about that and I haven't been able to change the address! Very, very frustrating.

Have to do it by post but there's a complication there too - got to wait until my new passport's back. I'm applying for that next week.

HowFar?
I have no passport or driving license, which is a good job because it sounds like just the admin would be far too tricky for me, never mind the actual travelling and driving.
