Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

.. and then:
(i) throwing the butts on the floor just outside the door, and

(ii) daring to breathe when coming back in to the office, whilst using the lift, thus ensuring everyone else gets a nice second-hand smoke effect.

I was once on hold with virgin media for over an hour. They played the same 4 songs on repeat

Today was an hour on hold with HMRC, and Vivaldi would have been a welcome improvement.

Years ago, the worst ever was Curry's, who subjected me to Eddie Grant's "Electric Avenue" on a loop for far too long, while they checked stock in their depot, before concluding that the TV sold to me by the branch wasn't in stock after all. One of many reasons why I no longer shop at Curry's or any of their franchises.

I no longer shop at Curry's after they refused to honour the guarantee on a faulty laptop, alleging with no evidence and completely incorrectly, that I had dropped it.

They refused to refund or even part-ex a laptop we'd bought that transpired had a hard drive so small that system updates could not be completed without buying an external hard drive to support it. That was our final straw.

We now get Curry's-style stuff from AO, who have been excellent.
