Diogenes
Celebrity Christmas records, cynical Christmas releases by megastars, novelty Christmas records, and songs released as anti-Christmas offerings in an effort to ‘steal’ number one.

Well there you're wrong Rich. Pastis - in the form of Ricard - is mine and Raffo's favourite tipple. In fact we had long Ricards with our Christmas dinner as it went better with the whole roast fish than the only bottle of wine we had around (which was Rioja and remained unopened)

Victoria's "Only Connect" openings.

I thoroughly enjoyed RATM getting the Christmas number one 12 years ago, despite not really being a fan (I always found Zach a bit whiney).
I distinctly remember being the only one still working on Christmas eve after some colleague or other had inexplicably decided that putting radio 1 on would be an improvement on silence, then dancing around the empty office to it before logging off for the Christmas break.
