But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

[There are appropriate times for fireworks. After 10 pm (other than maybe New Year) is not a suitable time.
I don’t have pets but I do resent being woken by inconsiderate @rseo!es]

[The 'appropriate time' is until 11pm. Unless its bonfire night - midnight, or NYE/Diwali/Chinese New year - 1am. UK law]

Ha Raemond I’m going to add “people who assume the distress of their children and pets is due to poor parenting” because it’s bad enough having to witness and deal with the distress of those you care for without having the judgyjudgy on top
