Went out to nab WSW game by the odd point. Took a slight wrong turn which cost me a couple of minutes, and walk never uploaded in time. If I hadn't corrected my error, I would still have had enough squares to win.

Went to dentist, waited half an hour after appointment time, got numbed, got X-rayed, got told I need a root canal before I can get the crown done and I'll have to come back and be seen by someone else later. Totally worth the half-drooping face for the rest of the afternoon!

I got undressed to have a shower before going out for the night shift at work, and only realised I had not in fact "had* a shower when I was already halfway re-dressed in my work clothes 🤷🏼♂️

Ran a 10K today. Wearing my (previous issue) Fetch shirt. Took it off to pin the number on (a sheltered 13°C. In Edinburgh in December!). Made a bit of a hash of it, quite lopsided. Decided it would have to do, as only four minutes until the start.
Pulled on shirt and ... somethings wrong. Realise I have pinned the number on the back and put the shirt on the wrong way round.
Still, I did make the start with ninety seconds to go, and shirt and number the right way round. At which point I realised I had dirty knees and legs from kneeling on the pavement.
(As it was my first race as an ultra vet, perhaps it should also go on the "senior moments" thread.)
