Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What do you know today, that you did not yesterday?

What type of angels?

“Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his FEET, and with twain he did fly.”

Ezekiel 1:7

the legs of each were [fused into] a single rigid leg, and the feet of each were like a single calf’s hoof; and their sparkle was like the luster of burnished bronze.

There's no reference to them swimming.

The question "what drugs was Ezekiel on?" is relevant, but the same is true of everybody else who describes angels.

Some commentaries suggest that the Seraphim covered their genitals and not their feet with their wings.

I agree that descriptions of angels may well be the result of the use certain substances.

On the day of her solo space flight in 1963, Soviet cosmonaut and first woman in space Valentina Tereshkova told her mother that she was attending a skydiving competition. Her mother discovered where she actually was from a radio announcement later that day.
