Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Hello, kind of running related as I’m looking for something to use for races!

I have a whole variety of bags and rucksacks but am in the market for 70-100L holdall type bag on wheels which is waterproof.

The purpose it to take my stuff for long ultras and to be able to leave it trackside which may not be undercover.

I bought a waterproof holdall a while back which is really good but it’s not on wheels and I nearly broke myself carrying it on public transport to a 12 hour race. It has straps to wear as a rucksack but I had so much in it that it was hard to get on my back and was not easy to carry. I have a big bag on wheels but it’s not waterproof.

I did wonder if I could get some wheels for the one I already have?!

I’ve found a few possibles online but wondering if I have missed anything

I’ve had a look at trolleys but I’m not sure how well that would work on public transport? I’m not sure if there are any designed to be attached to these sorts of bags though

I'd suggest looking up Boat / Cabin bags - they are usually waterproof. The one we bought was about 75 litres but with shoulder straps. Unfortunately, I can't remember where we bought it.

A quick Google for boat bag with wheels has brought up this.
