Hoping somebody can recommend a product to help me.

About 6 months ago we had a roof tile cracked over our entrance hall and had some water ingress, the tile has been replaced and the ceiling dried out.

Inevitably we now have some unsightly brown marks.

What should i use to conceal them please?

Dulux has a product called 'Stain block'. It'll be somewhere in the primer / prep section of B&Q.

It's a primer and undercoat. You might need a 2nd coat but it does a reasonable job of covering most stains.

Or you could maybe try some knocked down PVA on the stain, with a layer of paint on top. Might stop it leaching through the paint.

if you have some white gloss to hand you can use that locally over the stained area. then recoat with the normal emulsion on top.

I'm told gloss paint will do the job, rather than buying the expensive stain block. Then emulsion over it.
