Could I possibly ask how you got the Birmingham Vax 89 results? It was my first one and I never did see the results. Tia.

Before I go down the newspaper route or buy second hand books on the various events, would anyone be able to tell me a few podium places? I have the men's results but I'm missing some of the ladies' places for the following races. Name and nationality only, not the times:
1981 Manchester Charity (second and third)
1982 Edinburgh (third)
1986 Edinburgh (not Commonwealth Games - second)

Also, I have some names for the second and third place ladies' finishers in the 1980 and 1981 Dublin Marathons but there are some discrepancies. Can anyone confirm these and their nationalities, if not Irish?

I am a bit of a stats geek and I'm trying to fill in some notable gaps - thanks!

I posted on a FB group called Old Race Results and somebody kindly posted back with a page from a running mag showing the Vax results down to 3:15. The post is still available if you wanted to have a look.
