Well you gotta make the most of it having flown a few thousand miles

Think I saw that there is a mile race at some point but I think it is for the kiddywinks. Booooooo. Will see if I can find the info about it....

Humph :-)

Age limits for shorter races although would probably draw the line at the diaper dash for crawlers

Never mind, probably just as well! Going in the mouse-ambulance with a popped hamstring from the 100m would not be a good start to the proceedings.

The 5K is for all ages though.

I did all 3 races this year. Good fun and you get to hear the US National Anthem 3 times as well.
Remember the 5km is untimed so really just for fun and the t-shirt / rubber medal. Nice run around a car park, round the backlot and then around the Epcot pavillions before enjoying the Xmas music and decorations at Epcot.

No kids beat me in the 5km which is good - would have been humiliating potentially getting out run by a 5 year old in a mile race if I could have entered;)

This year, the bag drop / pickup for the 5km was outside the runners' area so you had to leave things before entering. Great when it's freezing and you have to take your fleece off.

Drinks were being sold as well although I left my money in my kit bag so couldn't get a hot drink!
Assuming they do a character photo-op at the start, best to get there early as there was quite a queue for the "Up" characters (although they did appear in Hollywood Studios during the marathon and also in some place near The Little Mermaid show throughout the day).

In reality I am proper jealous because this are my dream races, but I’ll probably never end up doing them because husband refuses to go on holiday just so I can run (it's boring, apparently).

So I'll just console myself in asking this - have any of you looked at what the weather did this year???

*still jealous though. Bastards*
